Backway to Europe is a collaborative podcast and public research platform created together with Gambian advocates and activists. Through podcast episodes, full transcripts, contextual research notes and institutional maps, it explores how visa restrictions, detention, asylum, return, inequality and colonial histories shape people’s possibilities to move, to stay and to imagine a future.
It is a space for listening to - and thinking with - their analyses of the border regime, the conditions that make mobility unequal, and the collective forms of knowledge and advocacy that emerge in response.
